Of all the reasons why Obama should have received the Nobel Peace Prize, following are some of the reasons, in my opinion, why he should not have been awarded this prestigious prize:

1. This is a lifetime achievement award and Obama has been in office just for nine months.

2. He promised the American nation and the world "change" but so far there has not been any significant change in the lives of the people inside or outside the United States.
