Why is there no reaction at all for IK arrest in Pak?

.
Is it because it has been proved he was indulged in corruption?
Is it because people are scared of army?
Is it because people have given up their fight thinking it's futile to protest as they have lost hope of a bright Pak?
What do you mean there is no reaction. Bahi there is no coverage, plenty of people have been arrested. The thing is all the social mobilizers and leadership including leading grass root workers of PTI have been arrested. Popular twitter accounts have gone offline or deleted.

It’s easy to say “why no reaction” people are scared, people are human, people worry about tomorrow.

There is anger, frustration and resentment. Some valid questions arise too that should be put to senior leadership of PTI but they all quickly elected to “quit politics and distance themselves from PTI”.

Mass NRO under any other name. Master stroke by the military to be honest, brutally effective, but short term gains will have large and far reaching consequences in the long term.

Ignore the Kuglemans and the Almeidas, look at the common man, ask them how they feel and you will have your answer to your question.

It’s mainly because the court declared Khan guilty in the toshakhana case. The evidence seems to prove that he or his wife were indeed part of the entire ordeal and secondly, people are just tired of putting their arse on the line. Also because most people have realised that you can’t challenge and stand against the state as you and your family all suffer not the leaders.

No one accepts the courts decision. Not even international commentators

Perhaps, however, imo a court decision has a very far reaching impact that most don’t understand. Not just on the ordinary uneducated person but also the people who part of the institution. I feel like this decision is just a glimpse of what’s to come in the rest of the cases.
Plus it doesn’t matter if international commentators accept it or not a court decision is binding.

It would be considered contempt of court.
😂

Yes, this is just one case. Others are pending and then there is the issue of Namal and SKT hospitals.

Yes even SKT will not be spared.

IK has been convicted by the court.

It is not some talk show discussion any longer.

People should accept the decision of the court and follow the law.

The whole country is out behind our True Leader

People can keep supporting IK peacefully from their homes watching TVs while he is jail.

Kangaroo Court. Even Dawn's coverage is critical of the judgement.

Anytime someone does not like the decision of the court people call it a kangaroo court.

Court cannot give in to mob rule.

It was a brave decision by the court inspite of all the threats.

Yup!
Court's decisions are binding unless and until overturned. But even if the Toshakhana case verdict is overturned, there are plenty others being worked on. Plenty!
There is a reason Musharraf died in exile and NS hasn't been in Pakistan for years: They had/have pending cases against them.

As for not much reaction, people are tired. Imran burnt them out over the last 15+ months with constant public meetings and marches. People have their lives to live and it would be futile anyway to protest against the might of the Pakistani Establishment which tackles threats on three long borders.

And, yes, there is not much reaction. Anyone saying to the contrary is lying. You can't control the online media and by now almost all political commentators--except those who want to cash in on using Imran's name to make $$--are in agreement: Hardly a reaction. Good!

There are pockets of protests happening but not being shown on TV.

Secondly the judge ran off to UK, his name was replaced by another judge for a foreign trip to UK a day prior. This time a judge did a runner to UK rather than the culprit. Irony.

Thirdly a lawyer who tried to send a petition to SC to appeal IK’s case was picked by the boys.

The judicial process made a mockery out of itself. IK declared his income in his personal income tax and filing to Election Commission but did not write the source (as there was no box to write source). His plea to have the accountant and tax consultant were denied. The judgement was done within the same day he was denied witness. Its funny.

But you see, it doesn’t take away from the fact that the Emperor is completely naked and he can’t find an underwear to cover his genitals.

The PDM and the handlers have a problem now. The second tranche of IMF. What will happen now?

wow... you indians are such donuts...full of ignorance

corruption?..... he bought back a gifted watch at 30% higher than offical rate and sold it with proceeds to build a local public service road..

he got "convicted" on "non" disclosing the item.. a element handled by his military secretary who was not allowed to appear as a witness

I will tie you up and throw you in a boxing ring.

And then when you can't move your arms, I will taunt you that you cannot fight or you don't know how to do boxing.

Would that seem fair?
