Pakistan is an Islamic country, with 93 percent muslim population. Isn't it obvious sherlock who will be on the key positions. Pakistan is not india where you can get away with mocking the religion and religious figures. Law prevent it, unlike india where you can mock your fellow muslims, skihs, christians etc.

Sorry to intrude in the wonderful discussion you are having, but consumption of beef is not banned. Just cow slaughter is banned in most states, with Maharashtra being the most extreme now, banning both cow and bull slaughter.

How this law is selectively enforced and mobs that use it as a weapon for extortion, murder etc, are another issue. But I just wanted to point out that consumption of beef is not illegal in India per the law.
