Why India Takes A Backseat To China In Media Coverage

.
.
1967 is a very minor skirmish. Your Indian media turn it into a war and claim victory over the years.

India now slowly introducing into the school text book that they actually won the 1962 war.

In a few years you might even believe it.

Generally, most Indians do not have the skill to apply critical thinking in their thought process, so they will believe anything that supports their delusion. Those Indians who are capable of independent thinking are labelled as "anti-national" now.

You fit the bill just perfectly!

,Can u believe tht in this century more thn a lakh kids die of dehydration in India(super power in making)
Will not say more othrwise will be branded as low self esteem, anti national, sikular, khangressi

It seems there is some kind of "political persecution" going on in India right now.

"Civil society organisations have been threatened and writers attacked. Independent voices in the press are noticeably declining. Many journalists are afraid to criticise Mr Modi for fear of reprisal. Business executives say they cannot openly criticise economic policies, such as demonetisation, for fear of retribution. Scholars watch what they say or write. The famously argumentative Indian is now being silenced and turned into a consenting Indian."

talk about chutzpah. Chinese nationals lecturing about political freedom

There will be elections in 2019. It is anonymous ballot. If Modi is unpopular he will be replaced.

If India was irrelevant to you then you would not have bothered to comment here.

On topic:

India doesn't crave for publicity. We do not have to market ourselves to get accepted by others.
Utter one name- MODI and everyone in the audience will know you're talking about an Indian.
India btw is the only country to have an ocean named after itself.

Not so irrelevant after all!

not true.

it's fun to comment here when one thinks of how Indians think so highly of themselves when in reality, India is only as relevant as any Sub-sahara nation is.

In other words, it's fun watching Indians get busted. Im enjoying the Indian national and cultural-wide subconcious inferiority complex

Love all the comments by Pakistani's pretending to be Chinese. I don't blame them though, if I were Pakistani I wouldn't admit it either.

I have no idea why some guys are jumping here and there because single photo,

this happens to trump and few more world leaders

Single photo with commentary posted on Forbes. Why do u feel the inert need to brush this off so desperately?

hahahaha.

Looking at the sorry state of affairs in India, Chinese have good reasons to be proud of their political system. Your "illiberal democracy" is not taking India anywhere.

Modi may be popular, so is Kim Jong-Un in NK. By the way, being popular doesn't necessary mean good, influenza is very popular too.

Chinese have a short memory. The Communist Party sent tens of millions to death in Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution.

You lose all your credibility when you compare Modi with Kim Jong Un. Unless Modi dies of natural health causes he will leave office in a peaceful transition of power. Kim Jong Un has no such luxury.

I am not going to argue with your people about Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution, for many of Chinese these "mistakes" are actually two of primary reasons that China is way ahead of India today. Too bad, you guys buy into western propaganda without your own independent thinking. Precisely because India never went through those social revolutions and keep its social structure largely the way it always has been, India will never reach the height that China is in today. Your "democracy" is just a new veneer over an old box.

From what I have read about India in recent years, Modi is a dictator in the making. Kim Jong-Un is using “Juche Idea” to control his people, and Modi turned to Hinduism.
