2) India is more friendly with states near China than China.

The Chinese warring states philosophy that ultimately united China under Qin, Friendly with those far away and conquer those close.

I'm not saying war, but you can see due to conflict of interest there will always be tension unless a hegemon emerges. IE Austria German Empire prior to WW1.

China and India may be on different stages of development but it is apparent to all not blind or delusional that the difference will one day become too small to matter. Thus China and India cannot be under either leadership but must be its own leader.

So, in order to create a world order ran by the East India and China shouldn't undermine each other's "sphere of influence" and work together to truly establish peace and stability in the region.

but actually India and China are matured nations they both know consequences of war between India and China and they don't want to affect their economic relations. India and China are both very strong nation China is powerful one but it is certain that India will cause a great fallback for China too.
