At the outset let me be very clear that I don't have an ounce of sympathy to the traitors killed in kashmir..This thread of mine should not mislead anyone into thinking that I am sympathising with kashmiri jihadists.
Ok coming to the topic..we all know how Kashmiris thump their chests shouting 'umma umma' at the top of their voice ..to their despair (even to my surprise) none of the muslim countries(apart from a failed state which can't even be called a country) condemned or showed concern at the death of around 80 people.

Have those muslim countries realised that kashmiri movement is a terrorist movement in the guise of independence movement or are they cautious not to annoy india which is a market of 130 crore people? We have seen how the world and muslim countries jump up and down when Israel bombs Palestine(when provoked by Palestine suicide bombers) ..Then why this indifference to kashmir? Because they are not pure Muslims(Arabs ) like Palestine?
A decade ago all the terrorist organizations like all Qaeda, taliban would definitely mention kashmir in their press releases but of late even those organisations including the biggest terrorist organization of Muslims like ISIS aren't raising their voices..why?

. .
because they have many kashmirs now
1 syria
2 palastine
3 libya
4 iraq
5 yemen
6 somalia
7 afghanistan

and kashmir is still better place to live then all of above .
Come on man. Palestine is probably better than almost all of India to live in.

Their per capita income and facilities available for the common man seems to be completely at odds to the international opinion about their situation. And certainly much better than what the average Indian has access to.

WHEN faced with a problem you can’t solve, what do you do? Why, declare a national holiday and hope people are satisfied.

That’s what the PPP government did in the 1990s, and since then, we demonstrate our support for the Kashmir cause by staying home on Feb 5, taking it easy. Of course, this is scarce solace to the oppressed people of the Valley, but for the government and then Punjab chief minister Nawaz Sharif, who heartily endorsed the idea, the holiday was an easy way of signalling commitment. Never mind that it cost the economy billions.

Now, with the dispatch of 22 members of the National Assembly to capitals around the world to “brief leaders about Indian atrocities in Kashmir”, Nawaz Sharif has chosen another low-cost response to the escalation of violence in the held Valley. OK, by the time we add up the expense of sending these worthies to distant lands, the amount involved will be substantial. But it’s not the Sharif family that will be picking up the tab.

The world is tired of Pak-India squabbling.
When I read about this latest measure to support the Kashmir cause, I was reminded of the time when I was information minister in our embassy in Washington in 1990, and a senior adviser to then prime minister Benazir Bhutto was scheduled to visit the capital. The purpose of his visit was — wait for it — “to brief US leaders and the media about Indian atrocities in Kashmir”.

I was asked to organise a breakfast meeting for the adviser with American media persons, and had a hard time persuading them to come. The common refrain I got was: “Irfan, what’s your adviser going to say about Kashmir that’s new?” After much pleading, I managed to collect a dozen reporters and op-ed writers around a hotel table, but of course, the adviser had nothing new to say.

So when MNA Awais Leghari met Choi Kyong-lim, head of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva recently, I wonder if the latter learnt anything he didn’t already know. Actually, other than a jolly jaunt paid for by the exchequer, I don’t see the point of the whole exercise. But as long as the government is seen to be doing something, there doesn’t really have to be a point.

As moral human beings, we deplore the violence being committed by Indian forces in IHK: over 70 unarmed civilians have been killed, thousands wounded, and scores blinded with shotgun pellets in the recent surge in brutality. Ever since Burhan Wani, the charismatic Robin Hood of the Kashmiri resistance, was killed in July, there has been a sharp spike in Indian repression.

But as pragmatic, rational people, we should also recognise that there is little Pakistan can do to change the status quo. The Shimla Agreement of 1972 specifically calls on both countries to “settle their differences by peaceful means through bilateral negotiations”’. So Indians argue that Pakistan has contravened the agreement by seeking to internationalise the dispute.

Albert Einstein famously defined insanity as doing something over and over again and expecting a different result. So, too, has Pakistan battered in vain on the wall of Indian obduracy, and hammered time and again at the doors of the international community. We have tried war, diplomacy and jihadi proxies. Nothing has worked.

The reality — if we are ready to accept and absorb it — is that the world is sick and tired of the never-ending Pak-India squabbling over Kashmir. While we may deplore the injustice of the situation, and shed tears over the plight of the Kashmiris, nobody else is paying much attention. This is why Indian forces can literally get away with murder.

The hard truth is that states do not hand over real estate they control willingly. No matter what the rights and wrongs of the matter, countries cling on to land in a vice-like grip. Look at Israel: apart from expanding its UN-mandated territory in the immediate aftermath of its birth in 1948, it continues to hang on to large swathes of Palestinian land in the West Bank nearly 50 years after grabbing it in 1967. Despite several UN resolutions and considerable international pressure, Israel is still the occupying power.

What we learn from history is that ultimately, might makes right. If you want to get your way in this world, you have to be strong. But Pakistan has grown weaker over the years vis-à-vis India, not just in terms of military and economic strength, but in terms of its standing in the world.

The reason China now speaks to the United States as an equal is because it has boosted its economy through hard work and modernised its armed forces. And while it remains a developing country in many respects, it has made huge strides and its voice is respected across the world.

And Pakistan? We support Kashmiris by enjoying a holiday on Feb 5, and send teams on junkets abroad.

Good Question : My hypothesis:

a) Muslims are the biggest killers of Muslims... I mean it as a fact ... so as long as you give them something they desire(cash) they will ignore everything you do. They have no love/respect for others . Heck the arab world is one language, one god and one race, still they are divided.

b) Muslims are hypocrites... recently pics of Saudi prince with bikini girls was released. Everyone knows what saudi elites do behind closed doors. I need not expand this point further.

c) Muslims are also pre-occupied in many other conflicts

d) Cousin marriages have lowered IQs in the muslim world affecting adversely their ability to stand up and compete in the international arena.

e)Finally India is much stronger than most of the muslim world put together. In a decade it will be stronger than ALL of the muslim world put together.

So called Muslim world is only worried when "ARABS" are involved other ethnicity/race takes a backseat.

Within the muslim world, and in the MENA in specific, as said earlier, there are too many other problems that are literally much closer to home than Kashmir for people to bother about. Those that are informed enough to still care for an alleged 'muslim' issue, both within the middle east and elsewhere, are also informed enough to know that India is home to some 180 million muslims, the overwhelming majority of whom do not care about about the situation in the Kashmir valley because the truth is that there is no muslim oppression in India and despite the problems that minorities anywhere on earth in any country face, they are a by and large, a thriving community.

The Kashmir valley is a land dispute between India and Pakistan, people realize this, why would they compromise good relations with the Indian state for sake of a tiny minority of militant sunnis in one isolated corner of India ?

.
It hasn't... the OIC still raises concerns for Kashmir every meeting. Even your Chabahar buddy, Iran; designate IOK as occupied.

However, recently countries like Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Libya and ect... have been sucking their attention.

.
It hasent

Muslims are growing and expanding

Kashmir is in turmoil and uprising and Pakistan supports the Kashmiri people against indian occupation

Power comes and goes, Muslim world will be strong again already individual muslim countries like Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt or Indonesia are stronger than ever

India cant beat Pakistan what chance does it have against the rest of the Muslim world

Even after 70 years of occupation, billions spent, billions more on subsidies and the people of Kashmir still hate Indian's

.
What a hypocrite...

a) Muslims are the biggest killers of Muslims... I mean it as a fact ... so as long as you give them something they desire(cash) they will ignore everything you do. They have no love/respect for others . Heck the arab world is one language, one god and one race, still they are divided.
Yes Muslims desire cash the most, that is why India has more prostitute than the population of Jordan.

We also have no love/respect for each other - that is why we are the most charitable religion in the world, also; that is why India earns 5 Billion Dollars in remittances from Zakat, donations and money sent to families from Pakistan.

Also, do you know who made the map of Modern-Day Middle East?

b) Muslims are hypocrites... recently pics of Saudi prince with bikini girls was released. Everyone knows what saudi elites do behind closed doors. I need not expand this point further.
That picture was debunked and some random *** Saudi elites do not represent 1.6 Billion Muslims.

c) Muslims are also pre-occupied in many other conflicts
There are more conflicts going on outside the Muslim World than there is in the Middle East.

d) Cousin marriages have lowered IQs in the muslim world affecting adversely their ability to stand up and compete in the international arena.
Cousin marriages are taboo and rare in all Muslim countries except for South Asia - which got it from Hindu practices of "keeping the caste/clan pure". Even in Pakistan it's becoming more rare and taboo each day.

Also; here is the World IQ Map - first get on the level of Bangladesh or Somalia before you decide to talk shit.
