Personally I think alcohol is over rated. I have tried it but it never agreed with me. My main motive behind trying it was so I could get a lay. The problem was by the time I had made a catch and was ready to go back for spot of humping, two things reared their ugly head. Either I dozed off or my pendulum would not stand up - I got what they call 'brewers droop'.

So after few failed attempts I thought frigg this. I was scoring zero and minus. Zero because I did not lay anything. Minus because the almighty ticked negative on my score sheet for being bad boy. So I gave up drinking and instead offered to drive them back home. That meant at end of day I had the stiff, I had the bird and I knew what I was doing.

Of course for others it is differant so I won't make any judgements - that said I see alcohol as dangerous and injurious to human health as much as controlled drugs. I see these muppets every day I jog in my local park swigging away whatever they earned or begged and I see why Islam banned it.

I know several Christians who don't drink Alcohol because of religious canons. It is not true that every Christian automatically drinks Alcohol. But I personally never would dare to interfere in someones life. It's up to them. Simply not my decision, not my business and, indeed, not my life. Besides, Alcohol doesn't taste good to me.

There is another thing that I can not accept for myself: losing the control of my perception. I hate this feeling. I need full control, full awareness; I can't handle even a temporary perceptual handicap.

Well they are deprived of this right at times even now, though in history Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto banned drinking. They have to have licenses. I think moral policing is wrong and defining moral practices is a matter of opinion and view which our government hasn't learned. Pakistanis should be free to choose the style of life they want to live, even if its the degeneracy of drinking alcohol. I do not drink but believe in every Pakistanis fundamental right to choose.
