Why are we lumped together with Britain?

It's not like we were in Pakistan/India/Singapore/Hong Kong and a bunch other places.

For subjugating the masses I guess Britain wins that hands down.


But for territorial conquests/control around the world France may have won that.

People should really peruse this thread (multiple pages) as it really is beyond mind boggling when you start adding it all up.
