US and the west is still stuck in the past.
Surveys after surveys shows support for democracy is falling - falling especially fast amongst millennials.
Today, people want jobs and infrastructure! They are no longer content to live in slums and go hungry.
The internet and social media has transformed the expectations of the middle class.
This is why Indians are putting up with a xenophobic maniac. My Indian friends are so ashamed of ModiG but ask what’s the alternative?
And why Bangladeshis are putting up with BAL corruption and semi dictatorship.
Both regimes will only fall when they can no longer deliver economic growth. Not when USA wishes it!!
Anyway, whilst the US ambassador mingles with BNP and Jamati whores - India, China and Russia are building HARD POWER.
Both literally and metaphorically.
USA cannot erase those mega structures from Bangladesh!
