I don't want this to be a poll, i want everyone to express their opinion with reasoning.

Media in Pakistan is very independent. Although Pakistani press has a low rating due to several murders of journalists (some by taliban, some by a terrorist party but that is being fixed now). Despite that, anyone in any news channel can say anything against anyone, from Prime Minister to President, without much worry.

That said, I am not sure if i can call it the most independent in the Muslim world. I want to add that the free media was a contribution by the dictator Musharraf, ironically it ended up being his own undoing.

Definitely not Bangladesh, our government puts journalists in prison for sedition charges and EU and US applaud them for "free speech".

Sometimes media can be used to overthrow legitimate regimes (Hasina isn't) and thus needs to be also kept away from foreign interference.

There is no such concept called independent or free media, Not just in Muslim countries but globally.. Every media has an agenda

Pakistan is doing great so far after democracy, it helped us more awareness and educations, unlike Middle East crisis.

You are absolutely correct. But at least there should be no untouchables in the media. Even if they have ulterior motives, they should be able to go after anyone.
For example in KSA and Iran, the media is basically the propaganda mouthpiece of their government. While Pakistan does have Pakistan Television Channel that is involved in that, it is one of the least watched channels on the cable. Almost all media channels slaughtered Nawaz Sharif for trying to send military to Yemen.

Lets just say their is more space for journalism, Pro and anti establishment

And yes Pakistan and Turkey does seem to have more freedom of the press as far as Muslim countries go.. Lets not even compare with those Arabs.. There needs to be basic human rights over there before we talk about free press

I think pakistan coz turkey too is repressing journalists since erdogan's justice and development party came in power

Bashing politicians isn't the only criteria if you are talking about independent media

There is religion,there is sex
media never talks freely about such topics in sub continent even more in Muslim countries
There are certain taboo which no one talks about .....
You should consider them also

Didn't pakistani defence forces including ISI objected on materials of one channel, banned it and made it apologise ?
