depending on the size of the house and your requirements its an investment of 3 to 5 lac rupees, however wind power system may be cheaper.

which city u live in

if you are from pakistan then go for HITACHI or O-genral AC preferabally 1.5tonne and if possible the inverter tech one

i dont know weather you guys have energy ratings there but here in india we preffer to go for 5star rating appliences they are very energy efficient

and its better to go for slit AC than window ac as window ac's make too much noise after some time

Do you not have the equivalent of this in Pakistan ?

These Star ratings are a big help in India, 5 star rated appliances cost more but are worth it.
