HI everyone)I just read about the list of retired aircraft and helicopters of various types of PAF on Wikipedia since 1947.I calculated the figures from Wikipedia and there are total 1211 aircraft's PAF has used and retired so far. These figures include the fighter jets, trainers, bombers, transport aircraft and helicopters and the propeller aircraft's of the world war 2 era.
I am just curious to know that currently where are those huge retired squadrons of F6,A5 in hundreds etc.?Why they don't give the chance to buy those retired aircraft to eligible people with flying licences like CPL(commercial pilot license) with a flying passion but definitely without any war ammunition(bombs and rockets etc.).In this way they can earn some revenue from the aircraft which are getting spoiled somewhere.?Countries like Russia and USA already opened the sales of retired aircraft to general public and they successfully sold few aircraft to the general public.
