where are China's 18 armies stationed?

I just came across with a news in a German website: China has disclosed the locations of its army. I wonder if the info is correct?

There is virtually no army group at India´s border! and Vietnam faces the 14. and 41. PLA army groups. Very interesting if true.

LOL, in the west views.China always the threat.

The major reasons not coz threat to China's neighbors, some white guys might not know where's the ASIA in the map. Truth is coz China stands for EAST POWER or ASIA POWER, not from America and Europe or tranditional WHITE MAN regionals. When new power growing up, the old power like the WHITE MAN power must be going down in hell, that's we called "the age of the transition from the old to the new". Whatever China rising up peaceful or bloody, it's still not good for the West World.

When more and more developing Asian countries have the chance into a developed country, when whole Asia area takeover old European area ... what WHITE MAN's generations will do? They will come ur home and beg for jobs/food. Anyway the West watch much further than current politics, if China could smoothly rise up and become one of the SUPERPOWER country. It means the West World crushed and the World Power will come back to the EAST / Asia area.

You don´t answer the question why I want to know. Why China places two army groups toward Vietnam, and none to India? The western border is empty. Zero.

If taking the 13. and 42. army groups into consideration, then China deploys nearly 4 armies that can attack Vietnam. Correct?

Hehe ... inside China the distance is not the big problem, China spent many years and millions fund to build hi-speed railway and expressway system, roads in China even better than U.S. It's true, drive ur car and u can drive to anywhere which u can find out in China map(Except some mountain areas in Tibet,no road)

About 13 and 42 army groups, i think their job just defense the War from Southeast Asia. And why no army groups towards India? Coz we have large mountains of Tibet and Himalaya mountains, how deploy army groups on 5000m Tibet Plateau ?

Northern Burma has many minority armys who can't controlled by Burma government, so 14th army groups stationed in YunNan provice, and 42th army groups stationed in GuangXi provice coz here close to Vienam.

You can either consider Vietnam has more potential than India despite their military budget is much higher than Vietnam, that why we place two division there, your should be proud and be flattered . Or because you're not reconciliatory attitude than India toward China...but nothing is permanent, now with Y-20 we can relocate a division at no time

Just The location of the headquarters.
For Vienam,14 and 41 all are B Army what with outdated equipment and small than A army.

13 army is for India.

Seems you are concern on the Army groups around China-Viet border, don't take it too seriously, just a map!!!
And Guangzhou and Chendu military area commond are in charge for South and south-east China security, not just for you, I do think you shouldn't think too high of yourself!!!

And, the territory is too big, the real army will be deployed in many place, do you think a troop soldiers will be deployed a place together?

13 troop and 41 troop are A army, 14 and 42 are B army...
I think 41 and 42is for Viet, 13 and 14 is for india... of course they can reinforce each other, if need, but It hard to happen, the reinforcement may from other military region, like strategic military region-Jinan military region.

You mixup between army group (about 100,000 men) and devision (about 10,000 men). Relocating an army group including weapons is not a piece of cake. Should I be now more worry? I am not sure. Fear is not good.

Yep, i must admit if PLAAF could equip more than 50x domestic Y-20 planes, distance is absolutely not the problem for PLA Army groups deploy !
