mi-35 should be coming this year for sure. MI-28 not so sure so that's another story

I'm just guessing but looking at the way these deals progress...Mi-35 should start arriving Autumn 2015. If training is involved in Russia instead of here then it could be delayed till winters. There is possibility that training is ongoing right now as Mi-35s are being manufactured. I dont think they will be employed in Zarb-e-Azb before Winter 2015. Most likely Spring 2016.

Mi-28 if you sign the deal today will not arrive before 2016 unless Russia loans some from its own fleet (unlikely). Keep in mind 6-8 months of crew training on new system.

LMAO this sucks, i thought it was signed when the russian official visited pakistan last year.

I think, Pakistan will get probably Mi-28 in two years or three years including heavy trainings, Operation Zarb e Azm is too late for these helicopters delivery within timeframe.

Look at Iraq for example, signed with Russia for $4-5 Billion in October 2012, and delivered to Iraq on September 2013 and January 2014 for total of 30 Mi-28 helicopters.

Iraq Defense Ministry spokesman shows off delivery of Russian MI-28 attack helicopters.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that it had received Russian helicopters with “high flexibility” to be brought into service as a part of its war on terrorism against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS.

The Ministry said in a statement reported by IraqiNews.com that Iraq received Russian-made MI-28 ‘Night Hunter’ helicopters. These attack helicopters carry guided weapons, cannons and advanced navigational systems.

The statement did not mention the number of the helicopters delivered by Russia. “They will enter into the service to contribute to the war waged by the Iraq Armed Forces in order to eliminate the terrorist elements of the organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.”
