Im kind of lazy to search it up, so im wondering if you people can fill me in :D What are the expectations on the Iranian economy once sanctions are lifted, foriegn investments pour in, billions of frozen assets are given to Iran. How much is the unemployment rate going to go down, are wages going to increase, living standards etc...?

Also how long til the sanction relief starts changing the economy, right from the get go or is it gonna take a year or so?

Thanks in advance to whoever answers.

It's going to grow.

Since the Economic sanctions.

1/2 of Oil Revenues have been lost.
Financial/ Banking sectors decimated from the global economy.
Iranian transport, Ports & Shipping, couldn't receive payments due to point 2
Iranian commodities and medicine, couldn't receive payments due to point 2.

But regardless of these sanctions Iran has become :

Top Steel Producer, Cement, Auto manufacturer.
Leading in stem-cell research & nanotechnology, Top Scientific papers published per capita.

Iran hasn't had much to any foreign investments in the past 4.5 decades. Much of it will go into the tile-communications, petroleum, transportation, and financing.

Some economist are estimating Iran's economy to take of like an Asian Tiger, as much as 7-9% in 2 years.

This is what Iran offers 81 Million people with a young educated workforce that itself has work experience. Not only that, but Iranian Investments in Western nations, during the times of the Shah, would/ could be released back to the Iranian Regime.

We're talking BILLIONS of Dallas.

Even on the opposite side of the Persian Gulf, Dubai, which already does trade with Iran, will see itself become the launch pad for many investments. But, the Arabian Economies will themselves have to restructure to attract FDI. As an addition source of Oil will flood the market.

well , yesterday the european union reinstated some of the ship and bank sanctions , that's the answer to the first part of your question.

. . . . .
the answer is they want to say to European court we don't care about your ruling .

Iranian friends, identify few good sectors and companies within those, that you see benefiting from the sanctions removal in the long run. Keep investing in the stocks of those firms for the next few years. You can retire early :)
