So far a slightly strong and reletively less corrupt governmemt has been formed in Pakistan. However, this governmemt revolves arround Imran Khan and PTI seems to be quite busy in enjoying governing along with allies.

This situation is like Pakistan standing where two roads start. One road back to previous corrupt and gloomy Pakistan and other road to a Pakistan going towards more and more stability and improvement.

So far the system through which the political figures are shaped is very non-existant. We as Pakistanis are not sure if we are going to get a continuous stream of leaders at all levels of politics and government positions.

This puts Pakistan in a very fragile state and the only solution to the void after Imran Khan is a Martial Law.

In this situation the people who are concerned about stability of Pakistan must think about how to ensure continuity in the Pakistan affairs.

PTI and other patriot parties should establish training centers for fulfilling the needs of a continuous stream of political leaders and and a continuous stream of learned people designated to hold the key positions in government and policy making.

We should have a system within the Political parties where teams should be present observing and criticizing the various positions of government and policy making.

We are a big nation and at this momemt of history the stakes should not revolve arround personalities. Rather we should have governing groups based on solid intellectual and informed observations and monitoring at all levels. We cannot afford to find out every other day that someone in the government positions turns out to be corrupt. A solid leadership grooming should be at place in every political party ( assuming they represent different schools of thought within the society).

I would be happy to see if people think about how to implement unshakeable continuity of improvement for the country and hence the question: What will happen after Imran Khan? (May he live long - Amen).

I would not worry. Just hope PMIK gets another term. Ten year rule under PMIK will see entire new generation of political class and potential future leadership emerge. Don't forget men like Imran Khan inspire and lay the seeds of so much other talent we have in Pakistan.

So just pray PMIK gets another term. After that natural dynamic of progress will bear fruit.

Khottaism!

Should IK is removed from office by any means.. Khottaism will come to reign with vengence!
They way khan is doing things, they would return.Marasi media and brown sahab are old guards of this system, until they are around khan can have 100 terms and it won't effect anything.

PTI needs to have people working throughout the country, in district they control and even those they do not, to work their way up by serving the people and coordinating efforts. From amongst these people the best should Rise to the next level, and on and on till they reach the top.

PTI need to train these junior members in proper debate skills, management skills, and learning the law well enough to enforce it from memory in a manner like Dr Zaik Naik does when quoting chapter and verse of the holy books.

While Shah Mehmood Qureshi is a sharp man, great foreign minister, and knows the landscape of global and domestic politics, IMHO he doesn’t have the same charisma that motivates people like Imran Khan has. After Imran khan he may be best to serve on as Prime minister to keep the momentum going, but after him there is one good candidate I personally like.

The counter Narcotics minister Shehyar Afridi has a strong dynamic look. He leads from the front and on the ground. He fights corruption and can carry on the PTI banner on his own accomplishments.

There maybe more great candidates but this is why we need a school for good governance, one where potential officials should train and elected officials should have to take a course if they want to keep up with where Pakistan needs to go.

IK needs to drain the swamp. Hopefully if he can do that he'll get a second term and hopefully a majority. After that we can hope for the emergence of new political opposition who are not darbaris of Bhutto or Zardari or Nawaj.

In PTI I'd quite like Asad Umar and maybe one day Murad Saeed to try for the hotseat.
