What should I do my research on?

Hi fellow PDF members,
I’m an A-Level student in the UK and I’m doing an EPQ (extended project qualification), which is equal to 1 AS, therefor in my second year I will have 3A2, 2AS.

I wanted recommendations on which topic I should do my EPQ about, I wanted to do it on something relating to Pakistan however I can not relate it to Economics as I am doing Economics as a A-Level subject.

Any suggestions will be appreciated! Related to Pakistan or not related!

An example being tourism in Pakistan or history of Pakistan.

You have endless opportunities and your motivation is an example for many.

Tourism, History, Archeology are all interesting and never boring.

But do something which can keep you waking up with a smile every day.

So it would be interesting to know what you want to do and think will be fun and interesting to do apart from being helpful to your country?

Effects on Pakistan's economy of the Nationalization of Industries by Bhutto.That happened in conjunction with Separation of Bangladesh, so you may have to study effects of both.
Reason why i am suggesting that is because in 1963 Ayub khan Lent Germany USD 200 Million in todays money to support German economy. Ten years later in 1973 we were broke.

It can’t be related to my subjects, I’m studying Maths, Accounting, Economics. It’s just an extra thing alongside my subject to increase the value of my CV. I have to research (using proper sources, eg through Google Scholar) and write 5000 words which will be assessed by an expert in the respected field. Marks are from A* to U.

For those living in Pakistan it's compulsory to do History in O Levels, i'm not sure if you have done that. I think there is World History in A level and AS, not too sure about Pakistan History. I am not taking any of it so i can't tell for sure.

Hmm. I admire your dedication, but i think you might struggle to find scholarly work related to stuff in Pakistan, or specific to Pakistan. it's not that we don't have experts, it's just that they are limited in numbers so work can be hard to find. I hope some of the academics on our forum who have studied in Pakistan can prove me wrong.

@Kaptaan came across some stuff about the Greeks you might be interested in.

I'd like to see something about Green energy in Pakistan. I'd have a research for available material first though. don't hamstring yourself.

1. Apathy in populace. Trace the historical roots and conclude with suggestions how to remove.

2. Politicization of language. An emphasis on how dirty language politics are being controlled from London and the masterstroke to chop the snake's head by the army.

3. The outstanding achievements of Pakistan Army in destroying terror.

4. A critical analysis of advertising in Pakistan. Watch adverts on Pakistani channels, look at the messaging, compare with Britain, and explain good and bad.

Lol, I'm currently leading the EPQ qualification in my school young man.
Here's a research question;
What was the cause of Pakistan's economic stagnation (60's onwards) after a promising start.
