What makes a better fighter pilot?
Its said that great pilots are made not born. It can be argued that there are three variables, when added together, can produce a better pilot. Those three variables are:
1. The inherent ability of the individual pilot
2. His training, and
3. His tactics
In addition to the above three variables, there are several sub-variables which are part of the elements mentioned above but can be distinctly categorized. These sub-variables are: (i) intelligence, (ii) quick reflexes, (iii) quick decision-making abilities, (iv) attitude, (v) aggressiveness, (vi) training equipment, (vii) pilot age, and (viii) situational awareness.
