I think they get some pictures and they put it on wall and admire it for 5 years
This much study is not even done while seeking out your future wife

Eventually what they end up purchasing always comes from country which later refuses to ship it to us on time anad deleys it for 3 years so we get a nice turn around of 10 years to get anything ordered

Feasability Research = 7 years
Manufacturing and Delivery = 3.5 years

Won't see any fast track purchase unless someone like Musharaf comes and prioritizes

The current leadership of Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Army, MoDP and specially Pakistan Air force are visionary. They have taken some bold steps like Project Azm, Building of new Shipyard at Gawader and Ship Lift Project for KSEW , Up gradation of POF AND HIT Facilities,which may have great impact on development of defense industry of the country.
All we need is political stability and Government interest.

No denying the impact of some Long Term planning for certain projects but if something new is added obviously will be announced on key dates

who knows what we hide in the "Secret Bunkers" which lay hidden from Sattelite spying
