They already are quite separate in practice.

Pakistan never was and never will be a secular country you can keep trying failure is bound to happen. Yes we are listening this for past 1400 years all enemies of Islam and came and became history but failed to do anything so sad.

Look, Pakistan is in practice a secular country, on paper it is not. Now those that want to further this are trying to, it remains to be seen if they will be successful...let us wait and see what Kaptaan does..?

There are a lot of things that are not up to satisfaction but if I could change just one thing,that would be education.Standardize it and make it equal and accessible for all social classes.Lack of education is the root behind most of the problems plaguing the society.
