It is noteworthy that Pakistan was founded on the basis of "Two Nation Theory" rather than any other and led by Jinnah, who taught that Muslims and Hindus are distinct cultures and civilizations which make coexistence impossible. That means that Muslims need a country that is exclusively for Muslims. During 1947, the partition of India and Pakistan was based on religion as the rationale. Although Pakistan was formed to provide equality to all Muslims regardless of their origins, language, or colour, it is unfortunate that after only a few years, Bangla speakers became marginalized and stereotyped.Could you explain when did we treat Bengali peoples as second-class citizens,?
There was a prohibition placed on them from holding administrative posts and from taking part in active military service at the officer level, as well as being treated as second class citizens by the Urdu speaking Muslims from West Pakistan. Despite striving for a better life and having equal rights, the discrimination against educated Bangladeshis was progressively advancing under the authority of white Muslims (Pakistanis). Although Islam forbids this type of practice, we did it, and we received the punishment for it. The thing you find is that we have this common issue in our culture: having dark or white skin. There were times when I was mistreated simply due to the fact that I am a dark-complexioned person.
