Relation ship of china and india is just like pakistan-india relations. Both countries in 1962 engaged war with each other. There are few borders disputes between these countries too.
According to a 2013 BBC World Service Poll, 36% of Indians view China positively, with 27% expressing a negative view, whereas 23% of Chinese people view India positively, with 45% expressing a negative view.
But still there is a good healthy trade between these two countries. They are hoping to increase it upto $100billion by 2015.

Because there are four different forums I wanted to get different views I asked before why india, pakistan and sri lanka don't get a long it had limited replies

LOL Even many Indian don't like the Indian workstyle especially the government red tape. Thats why many Indians respect China for the development and minimum red tape by the government. Hope now that BJP led NDA will form the government, things will be better now.

I interact with many Chinese guys regularly, part of my job.Now they have two different names, they tell me.One Mandarin, and another English..I never actually bothered to ask them about it, as when I'm working, I try to keep my conversations brief and to the point.So, I'm asking here..Can somebody tell me about it?

You mean Chinese name and English name? Many Chinese who always contact with Foreigner like coming up with a English name, Don't know whethe you meant this?!

Yes, thats what I meant..Is it a common practice ? Is it done because of the perception that a Chinese name will be rather difficult to pronounce for a foreigner ?
