After analysing Irans history I came to the conclusion that the Qajars were the weakest dynasty that ever ruled Iran. How many territories did they loose against Russians? Seriously the Qajar era of Iran must be painful for Iranians to read

The Qajar dynasty ( listen ; Persian: دودمان قاجار‎ Doodmān e Qājār; also romanised as Ghajar, Kadjar, Qachar etc.;Azerbaijani: Qacar) was a Persianized[5] native Iranian royal family of Turkic origin,[6][7][8][9][10] which ruled Persia (Iran) from 1785 to 1925.[11][12] The Qajar family took full control of Iran in 1794, deposing Lotf 'Ali Khan, the last of the Zand dynasty, and re-asserted Persian sovereignty over large parts of the Caucasus andCentral Asia. In 1796, Mohammad Khan Qajar seized Mashhadwith ease, which was under Durrani suzerainty,[13] putting an end to the Afsharid dynasty, and Mohammad Khan was formally crowned as shah after his sacking of Tblisi.[14] In the North Caucasus, South Caucasus, and Central Asia the Qajar dynasty eventually permanently lost many of its controlled areas to the Russians in the course of the 19th century.

Qajars are considered by most Iranians as the worst dynasty in the past few centuries, they were even willing to sell many parts of Iran for small sums money and then they would spend the money for their foreign travels.

The Treaty of Gulistan (Russian: Гюлистанский договор;Persian: عهدنامه گلستان‎) was a peace treaty concluded betweenImperial Russia and Persia on 24 October 1813 in the village ofGulistan (in modern-day Goranboy Rayon of Azerbaijan) as a result of the first full scale Russo-Persian War. The peace negotiations were precipitated by Lankaran's fall to Gen. Pyotr Kotlyarevsky on 1 January 1813.

The treaty confirmed inclusion of modern day Azerbaijan,Daghestan and Eastern Georgia into the Russian Empire.

The text was prepared by the British diplomat Sir Gore Ouseleywho served as the mediator and wielded great influence at the Persian court. It was signed by Nikolai Fyodorovich Rtischev from the Russian side[1] and Mirza Abolhassan Khan Ilchi from the Iranian side.

The Treaty of Turkmenchay (Russian: Туркманчайский договор, Persian: عهدنامه ترکمنچای‎) was an agreement between Persia (modern Iran) and the Russian Empire, which concluded the Russo-Persian War (1826–28). It was signed on 21 February 1828 inTorkamanchay, Iran. By the treaty, Persia ceded to Russia control of several areas in theSouth Caucasus: the Erivan Khanate, the Nakhchivan Khanate, and the remainder of theTalysh Khanate, which had been Persian vassal states. The boundary between Russian and Persia was set at the Aras River.

The treaty was signed for Persia by Crown Prince Abbas Mirza and Allah-Yar Khan Asaf al-Daula, chancellor to Shah Fath Ali (of the Qajar Dynasty), and for Russia by General Ivan Paskievich. Like the 1813 Treaty of Gulistan, this treaty was imposed by Russia, following military victory over Persia. Paskievich threatened to occupy Tehran in five days unless the treaty was signed.[1]

That's a stupid conclusion. what about Safarian or taherian who were just some puppets. or what about khwarazmshahi kings who invited mongols to invade to Iran or what about sasanids like their last kings who lost their whole territory to arabs, ...

Qajars are considered by most Iranians as the worst dynasty in the past few centuries, they were even willing to sell many parts of Iran for small sums money and then they would spend the money for their foreign travels.
Seriously? which part of their land was sold in exchange for money? As far as I remember, it was the opposite, and they, Abbas Mirza, agreed to pay millions to make Russians satisfied to not capture lands beyond Araz river.

The Qajars were the worst government we Iranians ever had !!
The most aweful regime in whole history of that region are the mullah dynasty, aka the islamic republic. Even a person with an IQ of 0 can understand it.

It seems you have a IQ of -20 yourself. When was the last time IR lost any inch of territory ? Your beloved Qajar gave something like 50% of Iranian land away, even the Shah gave Bahrain away.

So STFU about something you dnt know. Stick to your aliyevbaijan.

LOL, Are you a moron or what? mullahs have made the whole country bankrupt, and caused the wars which has killed and injured a million people, they have massacred political prisoners, and currently Iran is in almost at the bottom of every list of countries, like internet freedom, newspaper freedom, workplace quality, and is on top of every aweful thing like drug addiction, inflation, ...

Qajars are considered as one of the worst dynasties in our history .

They lost too many territories and if they had ruled for 1 more century there wouldn't have been something called Iran left .

But , There is an undeniable fact about every empire or dynasty and thats it : Every one of them have their ups and downs . Even the greatest empires that ruled this country such as Achaemenid Empire , Sassanian Empire , Parthian Empire etc one day fell and you'll eventually find corrupted people in any of them even though the numbers might be different .

STFU you piece of shit seperatist. Caused which war ? You mean the war the Iraqi invasion of Iran which was classified as a Iraqi agression against Iran by UN ?

Stop pulling claims out of your a.ss.

Freedom of speech is a totally different matter when it comes to losing lands, sovereignty etc.

Governments come and go, that is not important what is important is the geographical stance of the country which your beloved Qajar leaders ruined it.

Now get the hell out of here, kiddo and crawl back to aliyevs arsehole .

I didn't said that they sold it but I said that they were willing to sell Iran, and Abbas Mirza was the only Qajar whom I respect.

But they have signed many awful deals, took foreign loans and bankrupt Iran for their stupid travels and this is the least of their crime.

And really your comparison of IRI and Qajar doesn't even merit a response
