The rise of China is a good thing for world peace. If there was no China or Russia a lot of more countries would be destroyed by the USA and its dogs(NATO).

China invaded Vietnam in 1979. It does have territorial disputes with some countries, most notably in the Pacific. Chinese track record is much better than that of both USSR (former)/Russia(current) and USA, however. Credit where due.

Let us see what happens in coming years (if God wills).

USSR does not exist anymore. Everybody knows that America has caused much more damage to the world than USSR/Russia. You being Pakistani should know this. 80 000 casualties and 150 billion USD in economic damage. Around 16 000 terrorist attacks and 3.5 million Pakistani citizens displaced from their homes. Crimea is disputed and actually historically been a part of Russia. That is not a invasion. If Russia launched a full scale invasion they would be in Kyiv in a matter of weeks. The funny thing is that no country would defend Ukraine against Russia.

BTW how is Libya doing after the USA and its dog(NATO) attacked it in 2011? I heard it became a failed state with a civil war. Sad right? Considering that before the attack it was one of the few debt free countries. With a HDI higher than Russia, China and Turkey. How a country can go from being a " high-development country" to a failed state only in a decade.

Here in Pakistan, people were tired of giving Nawaz Sharif more terms, and decided to try new people. Now try to imagine how some felt in Libya.

Political resentment against Qaddafi reached boiling point in 2011 and Benghazi rebelled consequently. Libyian Civil War began and NATO took advantage of this development.

I can see the basis of criticism of intervention of NATO in Libya in person but the alternative was to watch a massacre in Benghazi unfold because Libyan armed forces had surrounded it under the order of Qaddafi.

The entire chapter is a Tragedy due to Greed and Ego of 'one' man. This is how I see it.
