we call them Pret, Atma, bhoot etc. concept is same here but we are adviced to not call even those who were from our Family unless we are priest of higher level.

it is advice that those who are under control of bhoot should go to a Brahmin than some tantrik because it is mentioned in shastras that only an Aryan of Pure Brahmin Blood of Saptarshi (seven main sages who write vedas) who have studied yajurved (a veda written specifically to deal with these issues) can communicate with a spirit and make evil spirit or Demon leave the body of Victim as son of God.

also, there is a saying in my community in sanskrit,

Mrutyunloka gatajIvita ahu, sarva shravaNa karoti Bhavan
if you call one of the dead, all can hear you and will try to contact you, hence the advice.

If they have mass, energy etc., then they should obey the local physical laws. We should have detect them by some sort of device other than sighting. AFAIK all these bhoot stuff are pure BS.
