Adnan Sami's pretty new wife Roya Faryabi has put him on a strict diet. "Jee, bahut zaroori hai apni sehat ka khayal rakhna, " says the German lady in shuddh Hindi. She laughs at this reporter's surprise at her chaste Hindi.

"Jee main bahut achchi Hindi bol leti hoon. I know eight languages, actually nine, if you count Czech, which I know a smattering of. My Hindi was not that good until I married Adnan. He has been helping me improve my Hindi and Urdu."

Singer-composer Sami returned to Mumbai last week with Faryabi, who is said to be expecting their first child.

The Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao singer may have lost several kilos, but his bride doesn't think it's enough.

"I'm into martial arts and fitness, and I don't think Adnan qualifies as fit. Not yet, " she says.

Sami can't stop gushing about his new bride: "In Roya, I've discovered my true companion. And why only one baby? I want to have at least half a dozen children with her."

Rumour had it
Mention the rumours about him leaving the city for good, and the singer-composer gets irritated.

"Where would I go from Mumbai? This is my home. Jeena yahan marna yahan. I know rumours were being spread about me settling in Islamabad. We all know who spread those rumours."

In fact, Sami has plans to apply for Indian citizenship for Faryabi as well. Azaan, his son from first wife Zeba Bakhtiar, is also planning to make Mumbai his home to pursue a career in music.

Sami may be gung-ho about his third marriage but the legal battle with his second wife rages on. "I'd feel something is seriously amiss when my court and police station visits stop.

The Oshiwara Police Station has become my sasuraal. I'm going to suggest they relocate their chowki to my residence. It would make life simpler, " he says, tongue firmly in cheek.

He has a good carrer in India. No one give importance to the singers in Pakistan as compare to India. Rahat with Sonu Nigam are starting a new singing competition b/w India-Pakistan childs. ...........kaya bany ga bcoz I never heard that any parents in Pakistan send their child for music class. Its vey rare.

Im sorry but would you care to not respond to my posts with profanity?

:disagree:

Act your age, or is that too much to ask? Refer back to your post of my original comment... *sigh*, real shame.

Nevermind it is to be expected. This is what happens when your arguments carry little or no weight. He "Mr. Sami" is a spent force, ask any young person and they will be like "Adnan Who"?!!!

Dear, time has changed. This was his last appearance on the Pakistani scene... A TV AD:

Frankly you can keep him... No love loss here.

More the world changes, more Pakistan remains the same. Remember Bade Ghulam Ali?

Pakistan chases away talent, India keeps bagging them.

Thank you Pakistan.

Atleast he is getting more attention than Bhagat Singh :p:P:P lolzz what a crap man. This wasnt even worth a news but you guys are obsessed and try to cling on to straws when it comes to satisfying your ego viz a viz Pakistan (BTW in this case he is not straw rather a big bamboo

I can very well see who is affected by an acute case of inferiority complex. You are very well eager to disown a fellow singer just because he chose to stay in India for a better carrier(yes, for better carrier).Okay,so what do you think about those little children who come to India for better treatment???Do you disown them too??They might running Indian blood in their veins .....:rofl::rofl:

Pakistani girl gets gift of heart

After the partition of India in 1947, Khan returned to his home in Pakistan, but returned to India later to permanently reside there. He did not approve of the partition, stating: "If in every home one child was taught Hindustani classical music this country would never have been partitioned." In 1957, he acquired Indian citizenship and lived at various times in Lahore, Bombay, Calcutta, and Hyderabad.

And him leaving, did it stop Pakistani music talent? :disagree:

Or it can be looked at it from a better one, that we export out the trash to india to fill the shortage of talent there. :woot:

Hi
Adnan Sami has a unique voice he has produced some pretty good music in past, though i haven't heard any good song of his in last 5 years. anyways, its irrelevant to fight over this as he is a singer & whenever he will sing a song we will get to hear it even if he moves to Alaska.e.g Imran khans song Amplifier was a big hit & the guy lives in Netherlands but this didn't have any negative impact on the success of his song. i think its a good thing that Pakistanis are promoting the Pakistani culture else where, its some thing to feel proud of.
