Imran Khan will be Prime Minister soon. In sha Allah, a day will come when overseas Pakistanis will move back to their motherland for better opportunities.

He is more relevant and a sought after person for the media without being the PM, a more dangerous person for the PDM cabal and handlers alike. And with more time to be in the public and being able to play politics as never before.

PM's are away from the public spaces, so this is a change for the better. He lost the govt. but won the hearts and minds of millions.

Establishment was able to co-opt IK with successive lollipops and IK being himself fell for it each time.

Being risk averse doesn't make an effective revolutionary or even a change agent.

Sepoys were able to successfully thwart IK's momentum and surge of protest each time.

Too late for IK now, his time has come and gone. Next election will be a repeat of 2013, with PPP taking PMLN's spot and will form the gov't with baby Zardari being the next PM and establishment's front man.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going, IK said many time he likes tough games and whenever the opposite team looks weak, he gets sympathy for them.

And IK will win and the people, or people will win with IK. Jeet hamesha sach aur Haq ki hoti hai, at the end. The process of trial and tribulations adds to the strength, easy win is not that cherished, challenges leads to strength and battle hardened people, leaders.

Faiz wrote this in 1979 during the zia coup and when he was likely to be jailed again.
