We need a new law in Pakistan. The new Prime Minister cannot come from the former Prime Minister's family.

So far:

PPP: Zulfikar Ali Bhutto > Benazir Bhutto > Asif Zardari > Bilawal Bhutto (successor)

PML-N: Nawaz Sharif > Shehbaz Sharif (most likely)

Terrible!

Changing the system to a presidential one will be better. You vote for who you want representing the party in the election and the votes go directly to that representative during the election. That way the party leader can't bribe somebody to vote for them in parliament.

One individual should run for twice as pm not more than that not letting one individual hijack entire system for decades as our system has

Live debates on key issues.

Direct voting.

Through debates over mandate policy.

We are free People. We want our leader to represent us and our story to the world.

Families
>Political parties run like Corporations CEO is from 1 family and his son is his successor

> Money (Illegal / Agricultural )
----> Money / Jobs distributed as bribe to win votes
------------> Vote Bank takes bribes (free computers, bag of rice / wheat , work in farms, Jobs in corporations)
-------------> Uneducated ratio % high who take food/jobs in return for vote at high population densities in villages

That is why We have Family / Tribal Successions instead of a Honest man coming and going based on his Merit and credibility

The problem lies in Political Parties run like a Mini Monarchy Iccubators
Each family takes turns

Normally , political parties are ever changing they don't elect a leader based on your family name. They select based on who is a capable person

In Pakistan , the trend is political parties feel they must select "Son or Daughter" of a extremely rich guy as he would finance all the campaign and pay all the Karkunan

The monarch system is built into Pakistan's Political Party rules and regulation
It promotes creation of family based political leaders

  • In China they have requirement of 20-30 years of public service job before you can be allowed to hold public political office. A central Human Resource system , selects best of best to be in ground level jobs. They make sure that best honest people are employed by country's 1 party to ground service job which lasts for 20-30 years. Before the person is promoted to senior level posts
  • People involved corruption (mega scandals) are immediately hanged to reduce burden on the earth

Explaination of Chinese Mode of Government , this system was deployed in 70's and in 30 years have changed fortunes of Nation we call China

Even then IK won't become PM :sarcastic:

MNAs and MPAs are elected by the people. They have the right to chose whoever they want and from whatever family they want!

Sadly however most voters are idiots; so they vote for idiots and continue to be ruled by idiots:hitwall:

If Elected in Next Years Election, would Imran be willing to make a pledge that his party won't become another mini-monarchy incubator; and that no member of his family would hold future office. It should be part of his platform to give the name Insaf. Break the cycle, give the nation the example of Turkey as a modern country with personally religious leaders (no major mention of their families; correct me if i'm wrong) that work within a rule of law and their democracy was strong enough that it even succeed over a bloody attempted coup.

100% agree with you, IK even in the 2018 elections it would be very hard.
personally i think he is "immature" in politics and one thing i hate most of his is his dharna policy, it's like child crying. otherwise is a good politician.

and as you said people in Pakistan are idiots they vote for idiots and al those idiots make pakistani fools it's so sad and frustrating.
May Allah help us.

westminster style parliamentary democracy is better suited for a diverse country like pakistan, you don't want another dictator who will resort to populism to pander to lowest common denominator and keep his/her hold on power.
