ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Aizaz Chaudhry has said that Pakistan does not accept US’ “do more” policy which it uses for propaganda, ARY News reported.

The newly appointed ambassador to the United States made the statement while addressing a seminar on Pakistan’s foreign policy at Islamabad’s Air University on Thursday.

He stated that America uses “do more” policy to create propaganda through its media. He advised the nation to not get worried over it.

Chaudhry said that Pakistan has achieved numerous successes in the war against terrorism due to which a significant decrease in terror incidents has taken place in the country.

He said that the nation has showed that there is no room for terrorism in the country.

Pakistan’s ambassador to US stated that strategic changes are taking place in the world due to which foes are becoming friends.

He added that Pakistan has to clarify its policies and set its priorities.

Chaudhry stated that the federal government is forming a foreign policy, based on four to five key points, in wake of the changing regional political scenario.

He added that Pakistan will not allow anyone to interfere in its internal matters.

He added that India is isolating the entire region by not participating South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conferences.

Wrong.

BIMSTEC is covering all SAARC countries (With expansion plans for Afghanistan and Maldives into the grouping) minus Pakistan. This is because we need a common trade corridor and full free movement of goods and commodities. But Pakistani representatives keep linking geopolitics to trade and commercial matters.

Every country has issues but they are not able to discuss their commercial woes because Pakistan keeps stalling saying "kashmir issue, kashmir issue".

If others are not heard, they will naturally get pissed off after some time. Just because they are smaller countries than you, doesn't mean they don't deserve a chance for a free and fair trade deal.

As a matter of fact, Thailand and Myanmar are also involved in the grouping.
