We are not well here, want to return to Bangladesh: Bangladeshi Hindus in India

.
We would be eternally grateful to you if you please take back millions of Bangladeshis who pole-vaulted into India in past decades.

Nope, these are all ex-BD Hindus that were "welcomed" with open arms by India in the past.

.
BD should prepare for maybe millions of Hindus that are originally from BD wanting to return back to their homeland.

Yes but we should also set an acceptable date of migration, like those who left the country during the '47 partition should be allowed to resettle or not.

Think 1971 should be the cut-off point.

Any that left before that should be considered Indian and not Bd'shis.

Bangladesh should invest in those areas to employ them but dont think taking them back is a good idea. Also Bangladesh should strict be on border. Build strong fence and mine the border areas. No fly should in/out illegally. Cross border illegal activities are intolerable. Last thing I will consider millions of Indians cross the border illegally.

If they have taken up Indian citizenship that means they already denounced BD citizenship. They are no more BD citizen. If anybody not taken the Indian citizenship are always welcome back.

Big difference between Rohingyas who are not BD citizens and anyone that is a BD citizen.

BD economy is booming at the moment and it is easy for even non-skilled people to find decent paying employment.

We have allowed the Rohingyas to fall into Indian lap. After digesting BD, the Indian conquerors will no doubt target Arakan. Rohingyas, Rakhinesans Arakan Christian refugees are increasingly finding their way into refugee camps opened in Assam, Kolokata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and even Kashmir.

And re-establish the ancient Pala Empire of Bengal:

You did not readout the whole article. They had a good life in BD, and they still have a good life in BD. We want our countrymen back on our land. We will be happy to have them back.

This is the difference between BD and that country that surrounds us on 3 sides - we recognise the right of those originally from BD to return to their homeland.

I also think '71 should be the cut-off point, hard luck for guys like @Rain Man, they have to be content with intruding the Bangladesh Defence Forum only. :D

The only reason for any Indian to seek Bangladeshi citizenship could be INSANITY, who in his right mind would want to settle in a sinking (literally) country and depend upon evolution to kick in and grow fins & gills for survival!! :p: So no worries, just calm down, take a deep breath, no reason to get terrified or have a nervous breakdown at the prospect of I seeking BD citizenship...I am not seeking that thing!! :sarcastic:

Expect millions of former BD Hindus to make their back to BD over the next decades as they go back to a fairer, more tolerant and prosperous country.

Bangladeshis by 2050 !!! :cray:

And no, we have no such aspiration! :sarcastic:

Heard of BD land area increasing due to sedimentation flowing down from Himalayas and the use of sea defences like in the Netheprrlands to eserve land under threat? If anything, BD is getting larger and not smaller.

btw - if you or your ancestors left BD before independence in 1971, then you most probably would not be allowed back unless you still retained BD citizenship
