New York: Ex CIA Chief Michael Morael has mentioned that We are dependent on Pakistan not other way around.

In one interview the ex CIA Chief mentioned The tactic of unnecessary pressure on Pakistan will not work. But this pressure will in turn be harmful for USA. Because currently Pakistan had became free of American Aid. They had support of friends like China. And USA is dependent on air and ground corridor without which we cannot win the war.

Michael Morael also mentioned that president Trump's new policy is not elaborative enough neither it explains the role of the newly expanded force numbers in Afghanistan.

I suppose the article refers to Michael Morell, who twice served as acting CIA director, if I recall correctly.

I couldn't find the supposed quote in a google search. He has characterized the U.S.-Pakistan relationship as one of "mutual dependence". Perhaps someone mis-heard the phrase?
