RAWALPINDI: PML-Likeminded leader Kabir Ali Wasti has condemned what he called attempts by the PPP government to shift the blame of the Raymond Davis deal and release on the Pakistan Army and the ISI.
In a statement, he said both the president and prime minister were privately celebrating and gloating that the blame of the entire episode had been put by the media on the Army and the agencies.
The fact is that the president and the PM are responsible for the whole drama as they are the executive authority and they cannot claim that a subordinate department or organisation decide without their knowledge or approval. Wasti said the Pakistan Army and the ISI should clarify their position publicly and place the blame of the entire episode where it belonged.
