Washingtonpost: Straight out of the Nazi playbook’: Hindu try to engineer ‘genius’ babies in India

I'm already tall (6'2"), fair and handsome so I don't need the extra help but thanks for the offer. Its heartening to see you thought of me as one of your own. I'm all about comradery, if anything.
Subtract 9 months from your date of birth and look out for the "planetary configuration" on "that day/night". You are a good subject for such type of research yourself, being tall, fair and handsome :partay:

. . .
I am yet to see a Pakistani man who can be called handsome. So please. Anyways, I was talking about IQ. The lack of which is apparent in Pakistani males.

Your powers of observation are so fascinating. :partay:

The "planetary configuration" really worked its miracle on you. How tall are you?

For Science, I suppose.

Or Indic Science, in his case. :partay:

I don't have to "believe" Altnews, they have documented and published their evidence. Meanwhile, OpIndia has a track record of publishing fake news.

Too soon. :partay: :partay: :partay:
Instead of proving facts you are moving towards, known as, ranting. If someone does not have enough knowledge on topic, atleast refer to knowledgeable sources. Alas!!!

Over and out.

.
Also noted shifting of your goal posts from asking me to prove the correlation between conception and planetary configuration to correlation between planetary configuration to smart, tall, and fair.

Is it really shifting the goal post? Lets not forget, these are the actual claims being made by Arogya Bharati. Nothing to do with me.

I'm merely stating facts here, i.e., Altnews, an Indian news source, has documented OpIndia's wilful blindness resulting in an erroneous publication or "Fake News". This isn't mudslinging, nor do you have to believe me or anyone. The sources and the evidence is for all to see. Hence, this is an exchange of facts.

Why, are you going to gift me my marriage suit?

Of course it is shifting of goal post. Planetary configuration was only one of their many recommendations. The others were about diet and the environment at home and mantras. Their claim was also not just restricted to the physical attributes of the child but its mental, spiritual, and psychological aspects to.

There are many mentions in our Puranas when people tried to get the child of their choice accomplish specific objective.

There is a story of an asur who prayed loard shiva to get a son who can defeat devtas. After getting defeated from the hand of Arjun, Drupad went to drona to get blessing of a son who can kill drona. Inspite of knowing that, Drona blessed him with a son who later on killed drona in Mahabharat war. Ansestor of loard rama named raghu, who had won whole earth and then donated it had no son. He got a blessing from Kamdhenu cow and get a son with great warrior quality named Aja.

So Indian scriptures are full of such stories when they got the son of their choice by doing yagna or getting blessing from rishis or from god.

I am not quoting opindia.com, period.
I have telling you what is there in charak samhita as uttam santan for both boy and girl. This book have some of path breaking processes of its time. Issue there is interpretation of 'healthy child' to 'best child'

Let me quote 1 example here..
In vedas, '33 koti devta' is mentioned, now koti has 2 meaning in samskrit
1. Crore
2. Types
Person interpreting (Maxmullar) quoted it as Crore even though next shlok provided all 33 types of god which essentially is nature in sanatana dharma. Now even kids are taught '33 Crore devta'.

Wrong interpretation is done to create a narrative nothing else. Prove me wrong based on your research, else put off.

Whether vedic science, islamic science or any such science, till it is not proven beyond doubt, lets just call them pseudo-science.

One note on this "planetary configuration" thing, though. However hard I try not to believe in it, this is crazy. Many a times the life predictions basis our date, time and place of birth gives you goosebumps when they actually happens. I don't know how, its scary. BTW, all this astrology thing is not vedic period subject. It was introduced in India from greece.

Sorry, but you are wrong here. Koti is Koti and crore. It does not talk about types of Gods but the number of Gods. The number of Gods correlated with the number of humans at that time when it was written. It basically means you create your own God. So there are as many Gods as there are Humans or life in the Universe.
