Washington Issues Warning to Airlines Flying over Gulf

The Federal Aviation Administration has warned US airlines flying over the Gulf to exercise caution "due to heightened military activities and increased political tensions in the region."

The advisory, which also covers airspace over the Gulf of Oman, comes amid rising tensions between the US and Iran.

Increased tensions in the region "present an increasing inadvertent risk to US civil aviation operations due to the potential for miscalculation or mis-identification,” said the FAA advisory released late Thursday.

The regulator also warned that aircraft flying in the area could encounter "inadvertent GPS interference and communications jamming, which could occur with little to no warning."

Washington has deployed the USS Abraham Lincoln and its carrier strike group, and B-52 bombers to the region against what it claims is an imminent threat from Tehran.

President Donald Trump's administration has also ordered non-essential diplomatic staff out of Iraq, citing threats from Iranian-backed Iraqi armed groups.

So USA the mother of every evil will again shoot down civil Airliner and then play innocent. So this warning seems pre requisite for same as they done before. Seems this time they will shoot down their own and blame others for escalation.

Why the hell are yanks exaggerating things ?... i guess they know Iranians won't make the first move so they are just trying an alternative approach to justify a war with iran , if thats the case then we should be ready for 9/11 version 2.0

their last tactic/card to push Iran towards renegotiation. It can be seen as psyops and economic warfare what they are doing against Iran in the past weeks. They ad little by little pressure, their other step might be sending US forces to the slave countries. They can even keep this situation for longer time (lets say a year).. it's pure psyops.

How do you conclude in this entire exercise that US threating you...Forget Israel, this entire exercise of war by US will be fully supported and bases of Gulf nations will be used for this purpose??

This is where the message of Pakistan public in general is very confusing...If you are really against US then you should be in opposing side of gulf nation too??It is not a rocket science to understand that US is not planning to fight a war with Iran just for Israel only...In one way, some of pakistan people like to die protecting Holy site although they know that Iran do not have no intrest in attacking holy sites...And on other contrasting way, they are ready to stand on opposite site of the Gulf with respect to US led war..
This is exactly i was referring in another thread about foreign policy of Pakistan should have a clarity that should be in sync with your public...You can not have a contrasting stand in an issue where you will not get any advantage neither from Gulf led US nor from other side...
Otherwise..stay completely neutral like Malaysia/Indonesia like nations..

History tells We can't stay neutral whether it is Battle of Mogadishu 1993, or soveit afghan war, or war in afganistan .
The problem is Iran has border with us. We are already fighting long Pak afghan 2500km border with difficult terrain area. We started to fence iran border, war is coming, millions plus refugee will try to enter Pakistan. Also we can't stay neutral due to our strong relationship with K.S.A & gulf countries. Maybe we don't officially enter in war but we will make our presence in some way. i.e Supplying weapons, support proxies.

I think u are asleep if you think this is about the US. One by one they are destroying Muslim lands. The demand from the Nile to the Euphrates is there and all I between is burning. Experts like u think it's just between USA and Iran.

This is their path towards Pakistan, India, China, Russia. They want pure subjugation and obedience/slavery.. like they did with kuwait, saudi etc. If it doesnt work with coups, chaos etc, they try war.
