War of words between ISPR DG and MNA Mohsin Dawar on Twitter

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Asif Ghafoor and Member National Assembly (MNA) and Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader Mohsin Dawar had a war of words in relation to the North Waziristan protest on August 26 in which one person was allegedly killed.

Dawar said, “There is nothing peaceful about imposing curfews on IDPs & killing protestors exercising their basic rights. There is nothing “inimical” about demanding our rights enshrined in constitution. Truth will come out when causes of militancy will b investigated.”

Preceding that, Major General Ghafoor from his private Twitter account had said, “We don’t backtrack. We don’t mince words. There is no guilt in serving this great nation and the brave people of Waziristan. Truth can’t be hidden. And soon you shall see it coming out about all the ‘inimical forces’. We shall not allow anyone to reverse the gains of peace IA.”

The response had come as a result of Dawar’s tweet in which he had said that the security forces have been backtracking and hiding the truth. “And you are keeping your tradition of backtracking. Our one precondition for beginning talks was an admission of guilt from your side, regarding the martyrdom of innocent protestors. We only began talks AFTER we were given that admission of guilt,” he had stated.

Before that, the ISPR DG had denied the alleged involvement of Pakistan Army’s personnel, namely Captain Zarar, as reported by the Voice of America (VOA). It was further said that an inquiry to ascertain the facts has been launched, however, it denied any assurance of Captain Zarar in case he is found guilty. The latter claim was made by Dawar when he ended his sit-in against the killing and was also reported by VOA

Bhai just tell me why are they making all this noise? When they know that army can crush them in a single day if they want. This is a small area of wana and can be taken out in a day. Relax something need to be played slow. People with warm blood always play directly into hands of enemy.

Answer my this question what is Ptm's objective in doing this?

This fake tahafuz movement has been buried deeply after the elections. LOL even their masters don't mention them anymore. All there is left now is to hold munazra's on Twitter. This American/Indian tool has paid zero dividends and had died a quick death.

I agree. Go hard and show zero tolerance. Take them out like flies. If the Americans wage a propaganda war shut their embassy.
