‘Want to see a prosperous Pakistan', Saudi King Salman tells Imran

Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and crown prince Muhammad bin Salman on Sunday reached out to prime minister-in-waiting Imran Khan and shared their hope to see a prosperous Pakistan during the soon to be formed government’s reign.
Both leaders congratulated him on his election win and conveyed well wishes for the former cricketer in their felicitation messages, Express News reported.
The Saudi monarchs prayed for the well being of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and sent the country’s felicitations on the party’s election victory on July 25.
Imran accepts Iran visit in telephonic conversation with President Rowhani
Since the election results which saw the Imran-led PTI win, world leaders have been reaching out to the him to felicitate him on the victory and looking to work together with the prime minister-in-waiting.
Among them was Iranian President Hassan Rouhani who had a telephonic conversation with the PM-designate. The Iranian president congratulated Khan on winning the general elections and invited him to visit Iran which he accepted.
Last week, Khan conveyed to Tehran’s envoy Mehdi Honardoost, who paid him a visit at his Bani Gala residence that the country wanted to play a constructive and positive role between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
