I've worked with one technician who was a Hindu but converted to Islam while working here in KSA. His family rejected him but he continued to practice Islam. He was perfect in his dealings and ikhlaq.

I don't know what caste of Hindu he was, If he was Brahmin at least he was enjoying high caste status in his country and his community. Now that he became Muslim in an Arab country he can now enjoy his Sudra status in the Muslim society of Arabs.

Highly recommended if he became Muslim he should get the hell out of Arabia and move back to India as a matter of urgency. Staying too long will enlighten him of his new Sudra caste and may lead to apostasy.
