Singapore company Keppel Land invests about $100m into the project. US company Steelman Partners and Co. is ready to invest $4b. the Prime Minister office will decide whether allow or not, since the latter investment is huge to swallow for a small land slot. considering the PM is extremely business friendly, I would expect, he will give a goahead.

if we wait for chinese investment to get Vietnam developed we can wait for 1,000 years. Haven't you read what Vietnamese communist boss received from China during his recent visit to Beijing? One of major achievements: the Chinese offer a cooperation between Vietnam and China Red Cross. Or as one chinese poster here bluntly said it, they throw a bone and expect we pick it up.

Our main source of investment is Korea, Japan and Singapore.

no lack of land? VN has a landmass smaller than Germany but we have a larger population than Germany. VN hasn´t good enough companies for such big project? well, true in part, but we are learning how to make things by ourselves. if we can´t we outsource to foreign companies.

Are you bullshhitting? For a place of 50 sqm and it is 3000 usd a month? Beijing has the highest salary in china and it is just under 20k usd a year and now you are telling us rent is 3k a month in shenzhen?. Not even in orange county where i live rent is that high.
