mainland china is a special case. you have better chance to find viet resto in hongkong and macau.

Nothing wrong to earn your money by selling food. It's an honourable profession.
Too bad, we don't have one banh mi shop in my whole city. But in a few weeks, I'll be in Paris. :coffee:

No, I didn't see much Vietnamese cafes in HK either. In China, Korean restuarants are everywhere on the street, SEA(Thai), Taiwan and Japanese resturant are expanding fast too. I don't know why there are very few Vietnamese restuarants in China (I saw only one in Shanghai and Beijing).
