Maybe in Bangladesh they had no problem. I have (female) colleagues who went to Tunisia and where advised to wear that head dress. Not that she minded. I'd guess that it's the same thing in other ME countries.

Tolerance doesn't mean that we have to accept anything and everything, but it means that we should accept the people that genuinely want to live and integrate here. Going around dressed like that surely doesn't help with integration.

First of all the majority in the crowd probably didn't even know that they where Muslim. Secondly, there is a Muslim community living here since forever (Tatar, Turkish and foreign Arab students from the communist era) and there haven't been any issues so far. Our former health minister is a Syrian (Muslim, I think..I don't care enough what his religion is to check) and there where public demonstrations in his support when the prim minister tried to sack him. Nobody cared if he was or not a Muslim.

Look at it this way: as a Muslim (especially one not from the main sect) you will be more safe here that in 90% of the ME countries.(because we're clearly intolerant bigots)

Not really. I wouldn't feel safer at Western countries than many Muslim countries. Speak for yourselves, don't speak for others. Hate crime is an issue of Europe as well but you blatantly try to hide it by blaming others for it.
