Its hardly a fight, more like a one sided quarrel as i have not seen Pakistani policemen doing anything. Having said that nobody and i mean no body not even the Chinese should be allowed to do this and they should be dealt with strictly as per the law of the land just like any Pakistani would be dealt with displaying similar action in China.

In Pakistan the chinese workers get special police protection and police shadows them everywhere.

Chinese engineers and the police in charge of looking after their safety here got into a tussle on Wednesday, reported a local news channel.

The news channel also shared a video which shows the Chinese intimidating the police. The incident took place in Kabirwala tehsil of Khanewal where work on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is being carried out. The Chinese engineers are working on the M4 motorway.

The argument started with only verbal aggression but soon progressed to a physical fight. It is being reported that the Chinese citizens were trying to leave their camp without security and were advised against it, however, they proceeded to leave and were stopped by the police officials which exasperated the Chinese who then picked a fight with the police.

Project engineer Danny threw a chair at the squad in-charge. Subsequently, one of his colleagues climbed on top of a police mobile and then they cut off electricity supply to the police camp.

Kabirwala Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) reached the site of the incident as soon as they heard of the quarrel and tried to resolve the issue through dialogue. However, they were refused any negotiations and the situation there remains tense.
