But are the normal soldiers allowed to record normal combat footage like US, British, Canadian army's do?

If I were the enemy watching this I would note the following:

1. PA troops have a tendency to inspect the kill.

2. They swarm in close bunches, presenting an accretion of targets in a limited area.

3. The movements are a far cry from a kinetic SF operation.

4. When hostile fire comes in, as far as I can see, the helis respond pretty much autonomously. There is no battlefield commander coordinating the attack and no established communication and protocol between heli and ground troops.

was that drone? good to know our drones have HD cameras the helmet-mounted cameras i saw in 6th sept exhibition were not good

.
How can you know that genuinely asking?

I can't. But it's just the way the helis swoop in for inspection as the firing starts. Normally the helis would stand position until given exact coordinates, wherein they would move in, fire, and scramble away. One of the helis makes a very low pass. If there had been any rocket launcher bearing lookouts, it could have been messy.

Pakistani and Western armies operate very differently. There is a reason why we are winning the war against terror and they are not. Footage like this gives crucial information to enemies.

2. They swarm in close bunches, presenting an accretion of targets in a limited area.
They were pretty safe. The compound was surrounded by snipers and gunners, the terrorists were trapped in a room and if they stepped into the visual zone for even a second; they would've been killed.

You could tell that a green light was given for them to enter the area after it was secured. Only a couple intial soldiers were sent to eliminate the targets supported by helis, the rest came after the area was secured and the terrorists were trapped in the rooms.

4. When hostile fire comes in, as far as I can see, the helis respond pretty much autonomously. There is no battlefield commander coordinating the attack and no established communication and protocol between heli and ground troops.
How exactly do you know that?

The people on the ground do not have eyes that can look through walls. It was perfectly normal for the Helis to inspect the compound, they moved in a specific formation so that if anyone decides to come out and attack with rocket launchers; the gunner could have easily taken them down.
