Either he should say that the government has told them not to attack. He has said nothing like that because the government hasn't said anything like that, government is busy eating corruption money what do they care about military policy?

He has the option to take them down. The expert on the matter, the ACM has said so. Heck he has spoken of willingness to take them down.

Yeah I'm sure what the factors are. We always heard that beyond Brigadier level, Army officers need approval from Washington. He's not getting extensions for nothing. I personally find it all to be a big drama and these leaders are pushing the public to launch a Pakistani spring (and the actual spring season is around the corner as well).

Kayani is hand in glove with the United States. Plain and simple. If not, grow a pair and shoot back.

In the movies where you have to fish out a double agent you give the suspected agent a gun and ask him to shoot at a known enemy. If the suspected double agent hesitates, then you know. You asked me what options he has... As a Pakistani I can't imagine someone having any other option than to not shoot back.
