That’s not what he said at all. He said it’s unlikely Ukraine will be able to regain ALL its territory this year, but with the new armor sent in the last two packages, Ukraine will be able to retake more territory this year at an operational level.

In other words, Ukraine will be able to make more progress this year in liberating its territory.

Give them AKs, they won't be able to do it. Give them jets and JDAMs and ATACMS, etc. they can make difficult to easy. Even in Crimea with constant bombing on Russia military positions after pushing the Russians out of the mainland Ukraine and start sieging Crimea.

The window to defeat Russia in Ukraine was in 2022, US had to supply Ukraine with massive amounts of arms before these Russian build ups. I predicted in July 2022, that US military aid to Ukraine was severely lacking setting in place a disaster for Ukraine. The Ukrainian and the Russian are both East Slavic ladies, and they are the same nationality. Their history is closely linked.
