Uttar Pradesh: Attempt to poison 4000 Madrassas students foiled by young student


Highlights:

• The madrassa is a house for at least 4,000 children which Salma Ansari heads in Aligarh run by Al Noor Charitable Society.
• Salma Ansari has called this incident ‘shocking and scary’.
• After the incident, students were not allowed to drink water from that tank.

Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh: Reports of an attempt, to “mix rat poison” in the water of two water coolers at a madrassa in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a charitable institution called Madrassa Chacha Nehru. The miscreants tried mixing tablets of rat poison into the water of two tanks frequented by almost 4,000 students at the madrasaa, which incidentally is run by a charitable organisation headed by Salma Ansari, the wife of former vice-president, Hamid Ansari.


Fortunately, one of the “miscreants” was spotted mixing the poison by a student Afzal who was asked to keep quiet after threaten with a country made pistol by the criminals. The water cooler has been sealed, and samples sent to forensic laboratory for testing.

The madrasa warden, Junaid Siddiqui, said that Afzal had gone to drink water at the cooler, when he spotted both the criminals attempting to mix some powder into the water cooler.He immediately informed the madrasa warden, who later informed the police.

Two unidentified persons were booked for mixing rat poison in the water cooler of a madrassa in Agra. The madrassa is run by a charitable organisation which is headed by Salma Ansari, wife of ex Vice President Hamid Ansari.

imagine if plans go through, would be biggest act of terrorism in world history , 4000 kids at school been killed of by poison .. that would be a horrible think to even imagine, the images of those kids at APS is still in my mind, watching kids die or killed is the most hurting thing to me ..
