And those are called air patrols, not showboating. And jets in teams fly a few kilometers apart, so only one is going to get clicked by dude on the ground.

Crashes don't happen inside closed buildings, with every one carrying a phone these days, it's near impossible to hide any aircraft crashes.
And talking about casualties, what has India provided to back these claims, if anything its India which either releases losses in instalments or sweeps them under carpet. How Abhinandan's loss was covered up by F-16 claim and more over did any Indian had the sanity to question about the images later released by PLA of battered and bruised Indian soldiers.
