Ridiculous to imagine that the "Occupy" movement could in any way nucleate a "revolution". Americans are no longer revolutionary. The only thing that could incite a revolution in the USA would be to ration gasoline and hamburgers. Say one gallon of gasoline per week and one hamburger per month. THAT might cause a revolution. And, if a revolution did come, it would be from the right, not the left where the "Occupiers" sit. You see, in America, it is the right that believes in the 2nd Amendment (the right to have and bear arms) and has the guns, not the left. On second thought, if Obama is re-elected and tries to take the USA further toward socialism, a revolution could be provoked in a few states.

I finally understand: you're one of those fringe nutjobs who thinks Obama is a Muslim Marxist Kenyan Atheist Socialist. No wonder you're so hostile to academia. Do you divide the other half of your retirement time to posting on freerepublic?

i'm occupy supporter they want more freedom less poverty and less tax and more tax for rich and company owners
it hard to define there demands but the 1st thing is they want corruption out

you do know how serious the economy crisis is and solving it wont be easy also the cold war is over( socialism vs capitalism )so it is not a big deal
do you remember the great depression it was the governement who pulled the country out the private sector couldnt do anything and to leave the economy in the hand of the private sector alone you are just drowning yourself governement actions is needed i am not a socialist but i think the governement must have a role in the economy to guide it to safety sometimes

The US is no where near socialism. The government is controlled by the rich and big companies. Obama is a tool in their hand.

Germany is a socialist country look how well they are doing. In fact I think the US could be considered socialist in 50's and 60's.

but being 100 percent socialism is not good either i think that competing is the key between private sector and governement indstry to have the best goods and services with the lowest price possible

US Army won't. IMO, the worst case will likely involve the National Guard. And as TruthSeeker stated, there will be no revolution but a lot of riots.
