US to cooperate with Pakistan on counterterrorism amid mounting terrorist attacks: Spokesperson

. .
What capitulation? All the things you mention may, just possibly, be related to Pakistan's great victory in Afghanistan. Everything has a price, and every nation decides whether it is worth what it must do for itself.

The establishment one.....
Pakistan evacuated many US personal as well, so it wasn't just them who benefited from the victory.
"May" be related, the Taliban weren't around during Larry Lee Pressler's great gift....
Yes everything has it's price and its payment hasn't been worth it for Pakistan.

The evidence is not easy to judge whether it has or has not been worth it, likely because all of those events are fairly recent. Not long ago, the euphoria of PMIK's ascension to office was leading to limitless optimism for the future, including the game-changing CPEC and the victory in Afghanistan. Recent events may have come as a shock to many here, but those too will likely evolve into a longer term acceptance of the strategy being followed here.

They don't want an ISIS stronghold to be established in Afghanistan-Pakistan region to the extent that they could threaten the US heartland in the future.
have you become a spokesperson for mai baap amrika in addition to amritsari kabaria party?

if so then fittay munh.

It's funny Pakistan decide to work on US on anti terrorist when it's Chinese being attack. Working with US will only bring more terrorism but on Chinese on Pakistan soil.

Anti-terrorism, concern about the women's voting rights, elevate the minorities' rights and living standards, etc. are all store fronts for color revolution, interference, and building geo-political allies.
I do think Chinese military needs to be cautious, very mindful helping Pakistan. Even transferring high-speed rail techs should be limited if there were ever one built to enhance CPEC.

Kulbushan and Indians are behinds BLA and TTP.
Why is it so hard for you to understand that India is not the only country supporting BLA? USA, UK and Israel also support BLA and other terrorist groups in Balochistan.
A Youtube search of support for Balochistan displays almost all the Indian news channels just to give you an idea who the primary backer is.

Militant organizations such as Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) under Harbyar, =
BRA, Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) under Dr Allah Nazar and Lashkar-e-Baloc=
histan banned by Pakistan are materially and financially funded by CIA, RAW=
, MI-6, RAAM and Mossad to keep Balochistan destabilized through acts of sa=
botage and subversion. BLA alone receives Rupees 50-90 million per month fr=
om CIA to meet its expenses. Once majority of Farari camps were destroyed b=
y security forces, members of these groups were imparted training in Afghan=
istan by Indian military trainers in dozens of training camps. These groups=
are involved in target killings of settlers, pro-Pakistan nationalist lead=
ers and political activists, kidnappings, extra judicial killings and bomb =
blasts. Runaway terrorists taking part in subversive activities in Balochis=
tan are projected as missing persons and the Army and intelligence agencies=
blamed for it by Human Rights.=20

Nope, nothing, zilch will happen.
You capitulated so fast they don't need to do anything. They have no incentive to help either, aside keep the current government going, which is way down their list of priorities.
Engines for ATAK blocked check.
Still on the FATF list check.
Any new defence deals, not a chance.
Trade concessions, nope.
Investment maybe, laughable.....
My source saying f16s coming also some chance of CSF

I don’t get it.

After this episode I wonder what the facts are about this supposed “higher than mountains, deeper than etc” friendship Pakistan and China claims to share.

Pakistan capitulated so easily and in such an in-your-face manner that it really does beg the question how deep that relationship really is.

At the time when US started getting really cold — reading all the defiant Pakistani hype around J-10 or the repainted FC-1, I assumed Pakistan was well on its way to cut off dependence on the US and US tech (Fteens for example)

Maybe Pakistan shouldn’t be blamed for their reaction at all and — this is actually indicative of what even the staunchest “allies” of China actually think of China. Maybe they have a habit of over promising and under delivering. Maybe their supposed “partnership deals” are really just one-sided campaigns of exploitation intended to purely serve Chinese interests. I mean all countries ultimately look out for their own, but Pakistan still chose the US as better of the two “evils” — the moment an opportunity presented itself.

I see the same trend in Africa as well. China is the “best partner” until the west shows an actual interest in getting involved. Forget natural resources or energy — from my own experience, the Chinese have a policy of strip mining entire species in foreign jurisdictions to satiate domestic demand with no thought for consequences to the local environment (pangolins, turtles, elephants etc etc etc). They act belligerently and pretend as if they own the whole damn place the moment they are able to get some one sided deal through.

I think China and it’s people need to learn class or maybe a primer on how to wield power and influence. They act a lot like poor people who suddenly come to a generous inheritance or win a lottery. No class, all bluster and an axe to grind with everyone who so much as sneezes at their fragile ego.

I won’t complain too much though. If they keep this up, India might actually catch up.

China is 'best partner' until a promise of 'carrot' is laid in front of these countries, regardless if that promise had any factual probability of eventual delivery. The image of American-grown carrots satisfies the urge of many wanting American attention and plans to retire in Texas.

The rest of your points are just cow dungs proudly Made in India. Give a contract to any business without conditions and the business will maximize its profits. Count the exhaustion of resources and extinctions of species if you would from the beginning of the industrial revolution or the dawning of colonialism. You'd find Western nations top all the lists, including first and foremost the natives in North and South Americas. At least the Chinese government hasn't sent gun boats to help its businesses extract, extort, and export like the British, Americans, French, German, Russian, Japanese,... But your words are proudly Made in India, and sure of course you will catch up soon. LOL.

America wants to contain russian and indian terrorism in Pakistan
You can't be serious.. LOL. You'd believe the American government had an interest in containing terrorism that doesn't damage American interests and in fact bring tragedies to its foes?

Yes, the US does give support to Balochistan separatism, whether they give them more support than India though is up for debate.

The CIA's regime change spin-off does have entries for Pakistan and some for Balochistan specifically.

.
Nothing fruitful will come of this / the US will reestablish ATAP and send some contractors as DOJ trainers - some Pakistani seniors will win an all paid trip to New Mexico courtesy of uncle Samiullah - FATF will still exist - the country will be goaded with a carrot and beaten with the “do more” stick.

Welcome back to 2008!

Brother it is hot air nothing else. They couldn't care less. The last dude who actually had some sense of loyalty to a friend called Pakistan was Nixon.
Even he didn't do jack $hit when Soviets and India ganged up on Pakistan in E. Pakistan.

Why doesn't India have the same problem? How come there's no terror there??

What did they do?
Because their establishment isn't a sepoy army doing the bidding of farangis for the past 250 years.

He armed Pakistan through Turkey and Iran during the war, sent a US carrier but ultimately he was told ( US establishment) that East Pakistan could not be saved.
