US suspends expedited processing of H-1B visas

(CNN)The US is temporarily suspending expedited processing of H-1B visas, eliminating the option of shorter wait times for the program that helps highly skilled foreigners work at US companies.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/04/us/h1b-visa-premium-processing-suspended/index.html

Premium processing costs an additional $1,225 and ensures a response from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services in 15 days or the fee is refunded. Processing of standard H-1B applications -- those that are not premium -- takes between three to six months.
The suspension is effective April 3, and could last up to six months, according to USCIS.

No more abuse of system by iNDIANS

TATA / TCS
Infosys
Cognizant Technology Solutions
Wipro

H1B is 99% issued to Indians

Really was a abuse of usage , illegally bring force from outside becasue it is $10 bucks or $15 bucks while CEO takes Millions home (Billions really when you calculate the abuse of 85,000 visa yearly)

It doesn't seem like you understood what this news is about. Look up what "expedited processing" means....

Fake thread title in violation of PDF rules. Sadly typical when an agenda is involved.

It was a nice little scam they were running , pay $1,000 for premium services and then move 100,000 Jobs to India and pay slave money to local workers

Pressure groups kept insisting on cancelling training programs in North America saying it was expense and burdensome

Workers in North America screwed over and also abuse back locally with crappy Employment policies

Mr Big Boss takes 80% profits and gives 20% for salaries

Hate to rain on your parade;

The images you posted are regular travel

This must be just "travel" visa not WORK VISA, sure you can come and go to bar grill to drink for chill out time but WORK VISA is different category

iNdians had a nice little scam gimick for last 20 years
Bring 500 people into country on fake jobs and let them wait around in hotels or rented places filled with 10-15 people, same slave tactic they used in Middle east

When job opens instead of hiring local people directly place the cheap labour

GIG IS UP !!!!

"NO MORE SCAMMERS"

While his thread title is pathetic - he is right in saying that ~86% of H1B visas were given to Indians in 2015. Not too sure about the 2016 numbers.

The administration may have paused the premium processing for 6 months and Trump may be screaming his head off. But, the relevant people will tell him, he can't just cut those numbers in a massive way instantly. There will be a huge shortfall and no one to pick up the slack.

I imagine a gradual weaning process will be implemented.

This table offers a better visual with national totals over visa types, Indians have been able to dominate the H1B visas thanks to creating visa application "factories".

Something that basically anyone can do.

Seems like entrepreneurial spirit. And the hundreds of thousands of Indians in the US who are directing jobs towards their country.

India has a head start in IT since they invested heavily into it, while Americans were content with liberal arts until now they realize "oh shit". While the equivalences between an IT field education in the US compared to India is up for debate, Indians are willing to toil and return to India having established connections and experiences to start their own companies in India.

Many of Bangalore's, let alone India's, IT companies are founded by Indians who have worked in the US.

Go to Non-immigration visa issuance.

What is so "strange about" thread title , H1B is well known to be "bring an Indian" visa
Reality-Check.png

H1B = INDIAN ban

If you reverse the H1B = B1H, if you flip it

B1H = Bring One Hindustani , Visa and Hell with training local population in North America

Indian CEO suggestion to US company , mmm lets move all Jobs to India it is good for USA lol SCAMMERS ....

H1B = Hire 1 Bharati (Bharati = Indian)
