A better retaliation would just be to improve the weapons that you give to the pmus,for instance something like fajr 4 or 5 precision guided artillery rockets,as this would allow for very precise long range strikes on us forces in iraq.
Another option would be an iranian-pmu joint operation to take out a us drone,with the iranians supplying all of the necessary real time radar tracking data to enable the pmus to engage the targeted drone with a loitering anti-air missile like the saqr-1.Ideally this would send a "tit for tat" message,ie leave my drones alone and I`ll leave your drones alone.
Ultimately of course I think something will need to be done as this was not a cheap samad or ababil 2 type drone whose loss you could simply ignore.More troubling tho` is that this was the second or even third time that this has happened,so this is starting to look like a deliberate pattern of behavior,indeed we saw a very similar pattern previously with the deliberate targeting of iranian shahed 129s in syria a few years back.

Iran certainly does fund and train terrorists currently responsible for killing your so called muslim brothers in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Pakistan and many other places though. USA can do this stuff because it has power, i have no doubt Iran wants to as well but it cant.
